Community NHS’ primary clients are households with incomes generally below the metropolitan median income and households whose credit histories may not afford them the opportunity to receive loans through conventional lenders.

Community NHS is an affiliate of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation (NRC) and a member of the national NeighborWorks® Network. Community NHS also participates in the NRC national initiative “Campaign for Homeownership.”

Since 1981, Community NHS has invested more than $21,200,000 in housing services and has assisted more than 8,500 families and individuals through direct loans, consultations, and technical assistance.
