Salary: Volunteer Position
Hours: Approximately 4 - 6 hours/month
Primary Duties:
Community Neighborhood Housing Services (CNHS) is seeking qualified and interested individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. CNHS’ Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that CNHS is well managed through development of policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of the organization. The Board of Directors monitors CNHS’ financial health, programs and overall performance and provides the Executive Director with the resources to meet the needs of those we serve.
Board Member Expectations and Responsibilities:
• Make a commitment to attend regular meetings of the Board of Directors which are held on a bimonthly basis
• Attend CNHS activities including special events and board retreats.
• Serve on at least one committee, standing or ad hoc.
• Fulfill the intentions of the articles of incorporation and the mission statement of CNHS.
• Make a commitment to serve on the Board for a minimum of 3 years.

CNHS is seeking motivated individuals with a wide array of skills and knowledge including, but not limited to:
- Community Development
- Non-profit Leadership
- Resource Development
- Community Relations
